Holiday shopping is only made better when you buy special one-of-kind objects for the people you love. Fossil Farm was created so I could share the unique handmade objects I was envisioning for my own home and garden. As an artist, I am frequently switching back and forth between creating art objects that exist in their own world and making functional ware that suits my day-to-day lifestyle which is very focused on my garden and the nature in my own backyard. My lines of ceramic items for home and garden include geometric garden lanterns like rolled paper, the Moon Garden series of flower bricks and candle holders, and flower bricks inspired by my antique farmhouse.
This Holiday Season a limited number of pieces are available at pop-up shopping events at Straw House Herbs, Cherry Valley, NY, Weathertop Farm, Sharon Springs, NY, the Cooperstown Art Association, Cooperstown, NY.
Please see below for more information on these three locations. Contact me with any questions.
Weathertop Farmacy says, “Join us for our second private shopping event Saturday, December 11th at our 204 Main St Sharon Springs storefront. Weathertop Farmacy is hosting a selection of curated and unique local makers including Megan Irving's Fossil Farm ceramics for home and garden, Normandy Alden with one-of-a-kind, hand-painted ceramics, and Karen Katz Studio jewelry and other treasures. Try our shrub and switchel pairings, herbal teas, mini tarts and pies, local cheeses, and cider. Use this time to gather, taste, chat, and shop.
As we will be eating and drinking in a closed-door environment, attendees are required to be vaccinated for this event. You will be asked to show your card or excelsior pass at the door.”
Your Fossil Farm purchase from this event will be packaged in custom fabric tote bags made by, Keep You in Stitches, home sewing by Kim Bouchard as long as the limited supplies last. I’m only able to take cash and Venmo payments at this event.
